[Review] Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Hi :D

So lately I've been a little obsessed engrossed with ingredient lists on every item I own. I've also been a little crazy about being eco-friendly. I think everything that was supposed to happen to me in the spring just happened to me now. In the summer. Anyways, as a result of my purging of products with anything paraben in it or Sodium Laureth Sulfate or fragrance, the products I have and use are now significantly reduced (don't worry, I didn't toss them, I'm just going to use them up and then that's it), and I've been leaning towards the more natural companies like Origins, L'occitane, etc. So enough with this rant. Basically, because of my need for nicer ingredient lists, I tried the Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash. I got a travel size at an Origins counter in Macy's for somewhere around $11-$12 (can't remember, sorry), but I believe you can buy the 5 oz. version for $20 at Sephora.

The packaging is simple, and the product is a creamy, milky-looking white.

[Review] La Mer Oil Absorbing Lotion

Hey everyone (:

I'm always on the hunt for that holy grail moisturizer, but I just can't find one :( I've been looking and looking...but nothing so far. That doesn't mean I haven't found a decent moisturizer though. I have moisturizers that are okay and fine, but I'm still on the hunt for the one, you know? My mom gave me this La Mer moisturizer, titled the La Mer Oil Absorbing Lotion. I looked online for the price, and saw that this is...$230 from Nordstrom.

Oh. My. Goodness. I freaked out the same way you probably are freaking out right now, and gasped the same way you guys are most likely shaking your heads in front of your computer, reading this. After my mom gave this to me, I was so excited to try this out. However, the burning question is: Is the moisturizer good - and, if it is, is it worth that enormous price tag?

[Review] Murad Clarifying Cleanser

Bonjour :D

Summer break is almost here, school's almost over for the year, but this means exams are coming up. Plus, the weather's warming up, which equals the need for more oil control so I don't become like a shiny and greasy. I've been looking for a great cleanser to get rid of my blackheads, decrease the look of my pores, and keep me from becoming too oily (my T-zone is way more oily during the summer, especially my nose). During my search for the right cleanser, I happened upon this Murad Clarifying Cleanser. In all honesty, I literally just went to the Sephora website and scrolled through all their skin cleansers XD This was $26 from Sephora.

Murad's Clarifying Cleanser is supposed to reduce irritating surface bacteria and prevent acne breakouts. Also, there's actually a decent amount of product in the tube, so this should last a while.

[Review] Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer

Hi everyone!

Dark circles under my eyes have always been a problem, and with the exams and such, they have become more and more prominent as exam dates are coming closer. I actually don't normally use or buy concealers, but I was determined to cover those dark circles up. I read some reviews, did some research,  and went to the store to take a closer look, finally settling on buying the Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer. It's $24 from Sephora.

The packaging is so pretty (: It's like a royal purple, and I love the font that Tarte uses on their logo. Random, I know, but I feel like I should point that out XD

The ingredients are decent and nice - nothing for me to complain about.

[Review] Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes

Hey guys!

I personally find removing makeup a pain, and I love it when there's something like wipes to clear all that makeup away at the end of the day XD This led me to buying the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes.

I can't remember how much it cost (sorry!), but I'm pretty sure this is available in most drugstores.

[Review] Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara

Hi everyone! (:

Because I'm paranoid of my lashes falling out or getting damaged by mascara, I usually make sure to pick ones that condition my lashes while also giving me the added volume and length.  The Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! mascara is supposed to add oomph to your lashes while also conditioning them (: This was $19 from Sephora.

The packaging feels so high end, especially the tube the mascara comes in. I don't know how to describe it exactly, but the tube feels like it's been made out of high quality material, not to mention it feels glamorous.

[Review] L'occitane Angelica Hyrdration Cream

Hello~ (:

Since I have a combination face where my t-zone can become especially oily during the day, I tend to tread lightly with moisturizer. It's hard to find a moisturizer that hydrates your skin where needed and controls oil at the same time. My mom gifted me this L'occitane Angelica Hydration Cream as part of my Christmas present, and it has exceeded my expectations ^_^
