[Review] Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser

Hello! Spring break just started, which means I'll have more time to sleep and, of course, to work on the blog :D

This was $10 from Sephora (this was bought on Black Friday).

I've been using this cleanser for quite a while now, and I'm pretty satisfied with the results. However, I was extremely disappointed to see that it contained parabens and triethanolamine (TEA) :( Now I'm still hunting for another cleanser that does its job well but doesn't contain parabens or TEA.
I want to make it clear that I do like this cleanser, it's just that when a product has ingredients that are potentially harmful, it turns me away.

The texture of this is watery and milky. The product doesn't really lather up, and the consistency is on the thicker side, but it's not too thick. The scent of the cleanser is interesting...I don't really like it, but it's nothing I strongly dislike.

After cleansing, my oily/combo skin feels fresh yet not stripped of most of its natural oils. My face does get a little more oily as the day goes on, but blotting papers normally do the trick (or it's my moisturizer's fault XD).

Pros:

- Removes makeup
- Formulated for a variety of skin types
- Isn't harsh
- I can use this everyday

Cons:

- Contains parabens
- Contains triethanolamine (TEA)
- Scent

Repurchase? Maybe, depending on if I can find a paraben-free cleanser that's as good as this one.
